Updated: Oct 20, 2020
On July 18th, 2020 Belarusian community in Chicago gathered for the second time in the past several weeks to organize a Belarusian Solidarity Line to support people of Belarus in their fight for freedom, free and fair presidential elections, freedom of speech, and the free assembly. Belarusian community was demanding freedom for unlawfully arrested and wrongfully convicted citizens, political activists, journalists, and presidential candidates. The world must be made aware of the dire political crisis in Belarus, so that the Belarusian freedom movement will know that the world is watching and can receive support from the international community in their struggle for democratic representation.
