35th anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster

The Belarusians in Chicago/Беларусы ў Чыкага/Белорусы в Чикаго nonprofit organization and the Leone Beach Park Advisory Council, Chicago, IL, organized the event to honor the 35th anniversary of the Chernobyl Disaster.

The representatives of the Belarusians in Chicago, the Ukrainian and Polish Communities, participated in the event. We planted grasses and trees to conserve the beach ground and cleaned the Sam Leone Beach Park.
